Season the frozen burger patties with salt and pepper. Optional: Use your favorite dry rub.
Place the frozen patties on the grill and turn them over every 3-5 minutes for about 15 minutes. DO NOT PRESS DOWN
Remove when the internal temperature reaches 165°
Slather each bun with butter on the cut side. Place it on grill, butter side down, for 1-2 minutes, max.
Burger Sauce (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir. Serve with hamburgers, hotdogs or as a sandwich spread. Keep in refrigerator for up to one week in a covered container.
Notes
Don't Press Down on the Patties: you might be tempted to do this thinking it will grill faster, but all it does is squeeze out those juices, leading to a drier burger.Preheat the Grill: This is my favorite tip! Get that grill nice and hot before adding the burger patties. The hot grill will quickly sear the burgers, trapping the juices inside.Use a GrillGrate: If you have this tool, now is a great time to use it. Not only will it add those wonderful sear marks, it also minimizes drips which stops flare-ups.Mix and Match: Try different toppings to create a Mushroom and Swiss, Hawaiian, California, or good old-fashioned Bacon & Cheese burger.Refrigerate leftovers for three to four days or freeze the cooked patties for a few months.
