Grilled A1 Steak on the Big Green Egg

rib eye steaks

A1 sauce
Instructions
Create the A1 Marinade
Put steaks in one gallon ziplock bag
Pour 1/2 of the bottle of the A1 into the bag, zip up and squish around to thoroughly coat the steaks
Place in refrigerator for 4-8 hours to marinate
Prepare the Grill
Use direct heat on the grill and bring the temperature to 350-400 degrees
Lightly oil the grate to minimize sticking
Grill the A1 Steaks
Carefully remove the steaks from the marinade and add them to the hot grill
Discard remaining marinade and put used tongs in dishwasher as they should not be used again
The steaks should need 5-7 minutes of grilling on each side. That will depend on the temperature of the grill and the thickness of your steaks
When they reach the temperature you desire, remove and serve
Notes
Note: The secret here is to make sure that there is a nice searing on both sides of the steak. That process changes the flavor of the A1 sauce
