Learn how to make this easy Twice Smoked Ham with a delicious Bourbon Glaze!

Twice Smoked Cured Ham –Ham cured, bone in – Apple Juice – Oranges Glaze – Brown Sugar – Orange Juice – Bourbon – Cinnamon – Orange Zest

INGREDIENTS

Slice oranges & lay in the bottom of the cast iron skillet. Pour the apple juice over the top.

STEP 1

Cross hatch slice the ham about 2 inches deep. Place the ham on top of orange slices.

STEP 2

Place the entire cast iron on the grill & smoke uncovered for about  2 hours.

STEP 3

After 2 hrs, increase the temperature & continue to cook the ham for an additional 2 hours. Details on smoking here

STEP 4

Start brushing the glaze on the ham multiple times & allow the ham to absorb it. Reapply the glaze a couple times as the it will get sticky!

STEP 5

Remove & tent for  10-15 minutes.
